Stadium Concession Employee Recovered $11,500 in Unpaid Overtime Wages and Unpaid Regular Wages Stolen from Him by His Employer

In this case, the client discovered that his employer systemically manipulated his time cards to reflect less time than he worked. The client was subjected to wage-theft of around 700 hours of compensable time including regular and overtime hours worked. Wage theft is a common practice in the workplace that is often overlooked as employers will manipulate computerized records by shaving time off to reduce labor costs and avoid payment of overtime at the expense of its employees. This is an illegal pay scheme in violation of Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA). In addition to the shaving time off regular worked hours (non-overtime), the client was deprived of his overtime hours as well. The client worked an excess of 40 hours per week and under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), he was entitled to time and one half of his regular pay rate. If you believe that you have been deprived of regular and/or overtime wages that were stolen from you as a result of your employer knowingly and/or recklessly shaving time off your worked hours, call attorney Robert S. Norell for a free case evaluation.
